I currently live in New York, and have always loved movies!
By following my passion, I earned an A.A. in Liberal Arts & Sciences, a B.A. in Cinema & Cultural Studies, and a M.A. in Film Studies - all with Honors.
During that time, I had also written two theses, was a film critic for campus media.
From 2011 to 2016, I interned with an independent production company, was a 3-season judge for a Long Island film festival, wrote my own movie review blogs, earned a Paralegal Certificate, and worked at a prominent NYC entertainment law firm.
From 2016 to August 2020, I worked at SAG-AFTRA NYC’s Theatrical turned Entertainment Contracts Dept. Not only was I advocating for performers’ rights but also helping filmmakers’ understand the complex processes and paperwork for hiring their performers.
In the fall of 2020, I took the opportunity to start my own business: AJS Entertainment Services! All of my educational and career expertise is now dedicated to helping filmmakers and performers with Union Consulting and Screenplay Critique services.
